What is Vibrational Medicine?
Dr. Richard Gerber, in his book “Vibrational Medicine,” said it best:
“By realizing that humans are beings of energy, one can begin to comprehend new ways of viewing health and illness. Instead of conventional drug and surgical approaches, vibrational medicine attempts to treat people with pure energy. This…perspective is based upon the understanding that the molecular arrangement of the physical body is actually a complex network of interwoven energy fields. The energetic network, which represents the physical/cellular framework, is organized and nourished by “subtle” energetic systems which coordinate the life-force with the body. These unique energy systems are powerfully affected by our emotions and level of spiritual balance as well as by nutritional and environmental factors. These subtle energies influence cellular patterns of growth in both positive and negative directions.”
We’re bombarded every day with waves upon waves of incoherent frequencies – in the form of cell phones, cell towers, power lines, microwaves, computers, and believe it or not - thought patterns and actions, from ourselves and others. Is it any wonder why our minds and bodies are out of whack?!
Vibrational frequencies, both good and bad – or both coherent and incoherent, can be sensed, felt and heard. Vibrations can also be seen through the use of technology, measuring frequency wavelengths, etc., like those heart monitors you see in the hospital. Musical notes, beats, tones also measure vibrational frequencies, wavelengths, amplitudes. One can imagine what the monitors might look like if the frequency or wavelength was staticky or chaotic or incoherent. Vibrational healing helps your body, mind, heart and soul return to a coherent and calm state or homeostasis, which is defined as the tendency towards a state of calm equilibrium. This is where true healing begins.
Understanding this, one can begin to appreciate the very real aspect of illness beginning outside the physical body, as a reverberating response to a myriad of factors (trauma, abuse, stress, etc.) and if not dealt with, will eventually manifest itself as pain, depression, illness or disease in the physical body. Think of it like ripples in the lake after tossing a pebble, only in reverse. Those same ripples? They’re moving inward. Whatever caused the ripple to begin outside the physical body (our subtle bodies or fields), has begun to move inward, and will continue this trek until a coherent frequency is found to heal itself. If a matching frequency is not found before the ripple reaches the physical body, illness may be the effect.
Cause and effect. Through sound balancing and vibrational medicine, your body seeks out the cause to alter the effect, to help you heal yourself. You’re that powerful. Begin to believe in yourself. That’s the first step to healing the whole body system.
